This page explains what Sidenotes does and what it does not do. Anyone who uses sidenotes.in accepts what this page says. It should be read with the Terms of use and the Privacy policy.
1. What Sidenotes does
Sidenotes helps students compare online degree courses in India. Its advisers answer questions about these courses.
A student applies to the university, not to Sidenotes. The university handles admission and every step after it.
Sidenotes is not a university or a college. It does not teach courses, hold exams or give degrees.
Sidenotes does not collect course fees. They are paid to the university.
2. Course and fee details
Sidenotes works to keep its details correct, but some may be wrong or out of date. Each university can change its fees, dates and entry rules at any time.
A student should check each detail on the university’s own website before applying or paying.
3. Approvals
The University Grants Commission (UGC) is a government body. It decides which universities may offer online degrees.
What this website says on this topic is for reference only. The latest list of these universities is on the UGC’s own website.
4. General help only
The guides on this website and the calls with advisers are general help. They are not legal, money or career advice. Each student should make their own checks before a big decision.
5. No promised results
Sidenotes does not promise admission or exam results. It also does not promise a job, a salary or career growth from any course on this website.
6. Logos and names
The names and logos of universities belong to them. They appear here only to show whose course is listed.
7. Images
Some images on this website are made with AI tools. Unless a page says so, its images do not show real students, staff or campuses.
8. Other websites
This website links to other websites, such as those of universities. Sidenotes does not run them. It is not responsible for what they say.
9. Errors and loss
This website may contain errors. Sidenotes does not pay for any loss from using it or from an error on it, as far as the law allows. The Terms of use say more about this.
10. Report an error
A person who finds a wrong or old detail can write to customersupport@sidenotes.in. Sidenotes will look into it.
